Curtius Blonde

This is made by a microbrewery located in Liege, Belgium.

I first had it at a restaurant in Paris in 2018 I think because there was no other option and I later tried it again at home in France just to remind myself about it.

I can remember not being greatly impressed the first time, and the second outing only reinforced that view. It’s surprisingly commonly available in France - the bottle I bought was from the supermarket Super U in my local town.

Good head and lacing but too strong for my taste at 7% alcohol; quite bitter and not particularly refreshing.

4/10 is probably a bit harsh but it’s one I avoid now.
