Vedett Extra Pilsner & Extra White
I’ve tried the Extra Pilsner a couple of times but have to say I’m not a real fan but I will say that the second time around I found it more pleasing and so upped the rating.
Made by the Duvel Brewery which, apart from a beer with that name (which is dreadful BTW), doesn’t appear to make a large range of beers; from the look of the other ones, especially Duvel, I’d say this is the only one that would appeal to me. Can’t say I’ve ever seen it on tap anywhere but that may just be because it’s not widely sold.
Alcohol content at 5.2% is fine. Light colour, good head but quite bitter and not really refreshing. Not one that I would go out of my way to buy again.

More recently I had by accident the Vedett Extra White (“by accident” means that it was really the only beer that was half-way appealing at a restaurant that had an extremely limited range of beers.
This one is a Blanche which is s style that I normally, with some exceptions, don’t really like. This one is drinkable; cloudy like all blanches, a good head. Slightly less alcoholic at 4.7%; would have again in the same circumstances but wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it in a bottleshop.
