Ozujsko

The second of the Croatian beers we had on our Croatian trip in 2018.

Said to be the biggest brewery in Croatia but is not so widely available outside the country as Karlovacko - in fact I don’t remember ever seeing it anywhere else.

This is a Pale Lager, 5% alcohol, nice colour and good head; have only had the draught version I have to say, which was, like Karlovacko, very refreshing and nice taste; some say it’s a little on the bitter side, but I didn’t think so.

I mostly had the draught version but was served one in a bottle at a restaurant in Zagreb; don’t remember it suffering in comparison.
