Tuborg Lager
Tuborg Lager
One of a couple of Danish beers I’ve had; undoubtably had it in Denmark once, but that was a long time ago…these days I only have it in the canned version. Not all that easy to come by but worth looking.
Brewery is based out of Copenhagen and is now owned by the Carlsberg group.
This is a Lager, 4.6% alcohol content which suits my taste. Light colour, very refreshing. Certainly one to look for.
7/10
Carlsberg Pilsner
Carlsberg Lager
This is the flagship beer of the Carlsberg brewery, one of the biggest in the world. Other brands include Tuborg, the French brewery Kronenbourg, Germany’s Holsten, even Russia's Baltika, Grimbergen (Belgium) and Fix, one of Greece's oldest brands and many local Danish beers.
It’s a Pilsner, 5.5% alcohol so about the right strength for me. Very readily available, even on tap but certainly in bottles.
Pale colour, not great head. Very drinkable and refreshing. I had it in bottled form on two separate occasions recently, and actually gave it a slightly higher rating the second time around.
Also came across it on tap in a bar in Mayenne (Bar RDV) earlier this year (2023) and it was, as expected, better than the bottled version.
Rated it 7.5/10 in a bottle, 8/10 on tap.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
