Berliner Pilsners

The one just called Berliner Pilsner is one of two Pilsners from this brewery which as the name suggests, is based in Berlin.

Have had on tap and in a bottle, both times this year (2023).

Light honey colour, refreshing, nothing remarkable but very drinkable and worth seeking out. 5% alcohol content. just right.

This bloke was the one who recommended I try the Berliner if I was ever visiting there.

And then there is another one called Berliner Kindl, which is also a Pilsner, very slightly higher alcohol content at 5.1%.

Light colour, clear, reasonable head. Refreshing, slight aftertaste which the other Pilsner doesn’t have. I have only had this one in a bottle, never on tap.

Has a bit more going for it than their standard Pilsner, so rated it just slightly higher.
