ZYWIEC PREMIUM
A quite well-known and readily available Polish beer, that calls itself a Pale Lager.
The Zywiec group of breweries (Grupa Żywiec S.A. (grupazywiec.pl) includes this one, as well as Warka and Namyslow, which feature in this portion of the blog.
Slightly dark honey colour, reasonable head and lacing. 5.5% alcohol so within the range that I like.
Quite an interesting taste, refreshing and very pleasant without being outstanding. Would look for it again.

WARKA CLASSIC
From the same brewing group that makes Zywiec. This one is a lager.
Like Zywiec it’s quite readily available although unfortunately usually only in a can which is not ideal.
Honey colour, clear, quite good head and lacing. 5.2% alcohol which is to my taste.
Refreshing and perfectly drinkable but not remarkable although I would look for it again.
Had it once before and rated it 6.5/10 but in a more recent tasting, upgraded it slightly.

NAMYSLOW PILS
Again, same brewing group that makes Warka and Zywiec.
This is a Pils; have had before in a can, more recently in bottled form which is an improvement. I rated the can version quite low but significantly upgraded the rating after sampling the bottled version; whether this was a reflection of the different container, or a slightly different view after a 12 month interval, I’m not sure.
Slightly cloudy, reasonable head but little lacing. 5.8% alcohol.
Very refreshing, would definitely look for it again, especially the bottled version.

Brok Premium Lager
It all begins with an idea.
Quite a readily-available Polish beer and possibly the best of the ones I have tried.
Made by the Van Pur brewery https://vanpur.com.pl/en/our-brands/brok/8.html which appears to make a number of beers under different names; this one is a fairly recent brand.
Quite good head and some lacing.
Fairly low alcohol content at 5%. Quite dark colour, but light taste. Quite distinctive, not bland, very refreshing.
