Palm

This is Palm ambre, (amber) quite a nice beer, not all that widely available, I have only ever had the bottled version, can’t say I’ve ever seen it on tap anywhere.

The reason I tried it is that the brewery that makes it also makes a beer called Estaminet which I used to find at a bar in a village near to my home in France, but to my great chagrin, they no longer have it. It is a superior beer to the Palm but that’s another story.

This one is 5.2% alcohol so within the range for me; being an ambre, it’s a slightly dark colour. good head, quite refreshing.

While I would definitely prefer the Estaminet, this one is perfectly acceptable.
