Gallia Blondes

This is Gallia, apparently it was a well-established Parisien brewery, apparently quite old but went out of business at one point, recently revived.

I’ve tried two of their beers, but only in bottles.

The standard one is their Blonde; says it a non-filtered beer. Pretty good colour, a bit cloudy; but pleasant taste, quite refreshing. A bit too strong for me (5.8%) but otherwise a good one. I intend to keep an eye out for a draught version.

6/10

The other one is called a Follamour, (bio) organic, slightly less alcoholic at 5.5%. Pale colour, not a good head, not great at first but then gets better. I ended up rating it a half-point better than the standard Gallia,.

6.5/10
