Menabrea
Another significant Italian brewery, it claims to be the “oldest active brewery in Italy”.
I’ve had three of their beers and have included them all here.
The main one is their standard Lager, and the one that can be found quite readily even outside Italy. I’ve had it on tap and in bottles. Alcohol content 4.8% which is fine for me.
Nice honey colour and refreshing but nothing to get overly excited about; in fact, as you will see, I rate this one lowest of the three Menabrea beers I’ve had. But still a decent beer.

The second of the Menebrea beers I’ve had is this one, called Menabrea Arte in Lattina, an unfiltered Lager.
Only ever had it or seen it in can form; it was recommended to me by a bottleshop owner in Melbourne who said it was his favourite beer, so I had to give it a try. And I have to say I wasn’t disappointed; quite a bit better than the standard Menabrea Lager (see above); nice honey colour, good head, very refreshing.
Alcohol content 5.2% which is a bit higher than the standard Menabrea but still OK for me.

And this is the third of the Menabrea beers: Menabrea Bionda, also a Lager.
Have only had in bottled form. Not one that seems to be all that available, I found it quite readily in Italy but otherwise I had to look for it online.
Same alcohol content as the standard Menabrea (4.8%); Honey colour, some lacing on the glass, refreshing, worth looking for.
