Peroni Lager

So, this is Peroni’s signature beer; most people are probably more familiar with their Nastro Azzuro which is the subject of a separate blog entry here. This one is far harder to find than Nastro Azzuro for some reason.

I’ve only ever had it in bottled form; if it’s sold in draft form, I’ve never come across it, even in Italy.

A Lager, slightly lower alcohol content than Nastro Azzuro at 4.7% vs 5%. Nice honey colour, good head and some lacing in the glass.

Rate it slightly higher than the Nastro Azzuro but both are eminently drinkable.
